Just one phone call is all it takes. We will answer your call and schedule an estimate at your convenience. We will personally meet with you, discuss your needs and enter all relevant information into a laptop computer. Using Five Star Painting estimating software, we will leave you with a detailed room by room printed proposal showing all work and related costs. We can also help you select the paint colors, and offer a complimentary color consultation, with a certified color consultant/interior designer. We also have skilled licensed tradesmen available, to repair or replace damaged areas inside or out.
Thorough and Proper Surface Preparation
We begin by cleaning all surfaces to be painted, as well as any adjacent areas. Exteriors are pressure washed before sanding any loose or uneven material. All cracks are carefully caulked and sealed. All bare wood is primed. Missing or damaged materials are replaced. For interior work, all holes, cracks and dings are filled and sanded. All walls and trim are lightly sanded to prepare the surface to absorb the new paint.

We will keep you informed on a daily basis of all project details and we manage our painters to keep them on schedule. If you make any changes to the work you want done, we are able to adjust the cost and timeline to fit your needs.

Our Guarantee
Before we consider a project finished, one of our representatives will do a final walk through to make sure we met or exceed your expectations. You will never be asked for a labor deposit on small and medium sized jobs, and you will only pay for work completed to your satisfaction. There is a two year workmanship guarantee, and all paint has a warranty from the manufacturer; any problems and we will come back and fix it free of charge.
Licensed, Insured, and DEP lead certified.
We are state licensed, (# 164832) and one of the first painting companies in the state to be certified in the containment and removal of lead based paint. As of April 2010, all renovation work of any kind, including painting on a pre-1978 structure, must be performed by a certified contactor. We can offer proof of our full insurance coverage as well as liability policy information. Finally, we also do background checks on our painters, and certify them in the Five Star Painting process and Code of Conduct.
